Google creators in share sell-off

Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have announced plans to sell millions of shares in the web search company they launched in 1998.
The pair each stand to pocket over $1bn at current prices - and will still hold 27% of stock between them.

A pornography publisher, Perfect 10 has filed suit in federal district court in California against Google. Perfect 10’s 12 claims listed in the complaint include alleged infringements of copyright, trademark, and right of publicity as well as unfair competition.

Google has unveiled Google Scholar, a new search product aimed at helping users search scholarly literature such as technical reports, theses and abstracts.

Overture, the paid-for search broker, has retained MSN, its second biggest client after its parent company, Yahoo!, for another year.
