Yahoo’s Slurp is Moving

Yahoo’s crawler Slurp is moving into a new home. While the name will remain the same (in case you’re cloaking for it), the resolving ip address and dns information will change and resolve to crawl.yahoo.net.
According to Yahoo it’ll take several weeks for the complete implementation.

As I got back in I noticed Barry’s post which confirmed the fact that Google had indeed launched their new “Google Mobile” […]

Popuri.us a New PR/IBL/etc Checker

While Popuri.us may be just another PR/IBL/etc checker it is its interface which got me. With a slick AJAX implementation, Popuri.us is a tool to check at-a-glance the link popularity of any site based on its ranking (Google PageRank, Alexa Rank, Technorati etc.), social bookmarks (del.icio.us, etc), subscribers (Bloglines, etc) and more!
While a bit shaky […]

Google put an end over the weekend to the much hyped conversation about whether or not they are developing a cell phone. “We’re not doing a mobile phone,” said Alan Eustace, svp of engineering & research, and added “I’d like to find something that is broader, rather than do yet another mobile device.”
On the reasoning […]
