Amazon Dumps Google for Microsoft

by Gilad on May 6th, 2006

A surprising move by Amazon which appears to be showing MSN’s Live.com results over the Google results it used to show. Same goes for Alexa which is owned by Amazon as well.

Both engines show the winlive.gif  logo embedded in their results, so I guess it is a done deal. There has been no official announcement yet, but I can see this move as a complete surprise to many, and as another source of traffic through MSN’s results.
