In a recent survey held by University of Michigan’s American Customer Satisfaction Index, or ACSI, on customer satisfaction Yahoo came on top with a score of 79 while Google scored only 78 in a surver that asked people about to report on Web search services, portals, online news and information.

A surprising move by Amazon which appears to be showing MSN’s Live.com results over the Google results it used to show. Same goes for Alexa which is owned by Amazon as well.

SEW reports that the A9 development team added a new page with information about adding a customizd A9 search function to any web page. Currently the service offers search and yellow pages search boxes but more are promised to come in the future.

All that is old is new again, with Amazon reannouncing its A9 mapping service which presents searchers with photos of the city blocks surrounding a particular address.

A porn site is suing Amazon, accusing the company of copyright infringement for displaying thousands of the sites porn images in A9.
The lawsuit filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, Perfect 10 Inc. is seeking an injunction against Amazon and unspecified damages.
