Danny Sullivan’s New Search Engine Land
Danny Sullivan is the “godfather” of search engine reporting. Beginning in the late 90’s he started writing on the subject and had published the very first search engine related newsletter.
Until not too long ago Danny had been with SearchEngineWatch and had quit his position shortly after they’ve been acquired by a new owner.
Last week during Pubcon, Danny announced the launch of a new search engine related blog which he will edit along with Barry Schwartz and Chris Sherman, his former editors for SEW, and this week he added about half the SEW crew to his blog. The new correspondents are Phil Bradley, Bill Slawski, Jennifer Slegg, Brian Smith, and Greg Sterling.
I am not sure if the entire crew will resign their position with SEW or keep enjoying the best of both worlds but if I was on the SEW’s management I’d be getting worried… Either way I expect this to be an exceptional blog with great information.
You can read/subscribe to the new blog at http://searchengineland.com/ and the official launch is scheduled for December 11th.
