Google Base Serving It’s Own Needs (For Now)

by Gilad on December 29th, 2005

When Google base was launched it was introduced as a mix of free database for people without pages as well as classified type site for people to list their own site. This week they made a major change where all listings that were before linked directly to the advertiser’s web page have ben added a “jump page” in between.

In my opinion it is an uncalled for move, although it is still in beta, and hopes are that it will change.

Danny has put together a full review of the changes and results.
