Google is Updating, New PR & IBL Update Ahead

Reports of a new Google update have been flowing through the weekend, and while many seo’s report of loss in ranking for their client’s sites, others complain about loss in ranking for their own seo service sites as well.

This update has been confirmed by Matt Cutts of Google which mentioned that Google is making efforts to keep tweaking it’s algorithm on a consistant basis, and that unlike the changes in China and Europe recently, “Some changes do try to decrease spam or increase core quality”…

The then goes on and adds a tip for the near future:

I think a new set of backlinks (and possibly PageRank) will probably be visible relatively soon; I’m guessing within the next few days. I still expect some flux after that though, just to let you know.
