Google looking at setting up shop in Boston

by admin on May 31st, 2005

Boston is one of four cities being considered for a new GooglePlex, according to the Boston Business Journal.

Google is reported to be looking for 75,000 square feet in office space that it could occupy as early as the end of this year, with an option to grow into 200,000 square feet in a year and a half. The report also speculates that the company would hire up to 1,000 mid-salary workers in the Boston area.
