Google may buy Chinese search site

by admin on July 12th, 2005

Rumors are floating around that Google is said to be interested in acquiring Baidu, China’s largest search engine, in which they currently hold a 4% stake, which seems to have arisen from Google CEO Eric Schmidt visiting Beijing recently and meeting with Baidu officials. In unrelated reports Schmidt has reportedly visited a the factory of Australian toilet paper manufacturer Kleenex and now Google is rumoured to be buying the toilet paper firm. More sh*t shortly. :-)
