Google Offers SEO Classes
In a move which may be considered as a conflict of interest by many, Google had decided to offer SEO classes to the masses in a class named “Web Manager University“.
The 3 hour class will take place at the Catholic University, in Washington DC on September 18th and will cost $30. It will be ran by Adam Lasnik, Google’s Search Evangelist who also commented on SEO’s attending his session:
While I’m excited about this upcoming presentation to government manager folks — I think that the generally very-tech-savvy WebmasterWorld audience would be disappointed with the depth and focus of information presented. The primary emphasis will be on accessibility, not ranking, and the needs (and limitations) of government sites are often quite distinct from those of for-profit sites.
Anyone interested in this session? I’d love to see a recap of it.
