Google to Open a Call Center in Michigan

Google announced Monday night that they plan on opening a new office and research center in Michigan, and hire as much as 1000 new employees.

The center will be opened in downtown Ann Arbor, only miles away from the Univerisity of Michigan, where Google’s founder Larry Page acquired his undergraduate degree in engineering.

The NYTimes reports that the majority of the 250,000 square-foot building will be used for “technology and call center, with about 40,000 square feet needed to house the library digitization project.
