Google Trends, New Search Tool From GoogleLabs
Google Labs had come out with a new search tool called Google Trends, it helps “Make Information Easier to Discover, Organize and Share“.
In general, It displays relative search volumes over time (from 2004 onward) for a set of user defined keywords and keyword phrases. It notes important news pieces related to the compred terms, and breaks it all down on a nice little graph.
For example, compare Hotmail, Gmail, and Yahoo Mail to find trend changes over time:
