Google Updates IBL’s and PR

by Gilad on October 20th, 2005

On Monday we reported about Google’s latest update. On Wednesday, we even had a name for this baby. Well, today came the last part of the update, PR and IBL’s. Based on prior updates, you are about to see flactuations in those resolts for a couple of weeks now util it all gets stablized.

In my opinion Google’s PR and IBL’s have quit playing a role a long time ago, PR because aside from a green bar because it is nothing but a green bar, and IBL’s because it Google quit showing the full results a long time ago, and instead only shows a sample.
Some people, on the other hand, look forward to this event for months and really value it. Go figure…

Update: According to the weather man:

GoogleGuy posted yesterday or so that a new binary is also wending its way from data centers like 66.102.7.x. And I wouldn’t be surprised if a second stage of the index rolls out around this time next week. I also wouldn’t be surprised if a third stage of the index rolls out the week after that. I just wanted to let people know that there’s still flux to come.
