How Long Does it Take to Get Indexed and Ranked in MSN and ASK
Trying to keep up with Work, Blogs and Forums, I sort of get caught up before the latter and never really get to follow much. Barry, on the other hand, has been doing a great job covering the different Forums, finding (and posting) the gems among them (good job Barry).
A couple of forum threads this week have been covering the issue of getting indexed as well as listed on both MSN and ASK.
The MSN discussion quotes the time as “Days to a Week” or as Moderators put it:
Mikkel deMib Svendsen: MSN is probably the engine that index and rank new pages the fastest at the moment. At least, thats my experience. I usually get most new sites indexed and well ranked within a matter of days.
Marcia: Yep, less than a week from when the first pages are uploaded. And then they pick up new pages added almost immediately.
Ask, on the other hand, is a whole different story…
Re-index schedule used to be between 3-6 months occasionally a couple in one month in the past, but the level of re-index was always sporadic and mainly shallow, hence why teoma’s results outside of g, msn and yahoo/atw is probably the worst.
Reminds me of the old “googledance” days, eh?
