Just Launched: Google Music Search

by Gilad on December 15th, 2005

Google has added today (Thur) some music to the mix. The new search feature would add “additional information” to search results when search for artists / bands is made (Example: britney or britney music).

AP reports:

Among other things, Google’s music section will provide lists of all the songs recorded on a specific album and also will point to places where the music can be legally downloaded. Google is working with several online libraries to make sure its song list remains up to date.

Google Music Screen CapAmong the results I get at the above search, a direct link to iTunes and several other stores (got to wonder how they pick these specific stores), reviewes for the specific cd (scraped from sites across the net), song list (again scraped of somewhere around the net).
