PPA to Replace Adsense?
It isn’t a secret that the notion of click fraud presents a big problem for the different engines. Even if the engines don’t particularly care, it is the bad rep and the way they are portrayed that gets them.
Anyways, with the introduction of Google’s PPA ads, rumors have started spreading that these ads may be the solution for click-fraud and may, therefore, replace Adsense altogether.
From WMW:
The rewards can be much greater with CPA than with CPC, if the publisher has traffic that converts. The real question isn’t whether CPA works; it’s whether there’s a benefit to working through a network like Google or Commission Junction instead of dealing directly with the affiliate partners.
With all the positives, some publishers are concerned with the level of compensation that they will receive from this new program. I wonder if they don’t really believe that people who click really buy… In that case, Google should be worried as well and they should scrap the entire idea.
