Talking About Domain Names
A friend who was into blogging was thinking if she should already buy her own domain. She is currently still weighing on the pros and cons of having her own domain. She blogs just for the love of writing though she does monetize her blog.
If you have a site that has its own domain, one of the advantages that you would be having is having an easier recall for your visitors. For example, if you own a site and you have your own domain like idontknowwhatthisiscalled.com, that would be easily recalled by your visitors compared to idontknowwhatthisiscalled.blogspot.com or some other address.
Another thing that you should remember is that it would be best if you would have purchased that domain and bought the rights to that domain for a long period of time. That would mean that you really are serious about it. If you keep on changing domains, that would be quite confusing on the part of your readers and of course confusing for the search engine spiders.
