When Google’s Employees Become SEO
For a long time now, many SEO’s have been playing with the question “what would happen if Matt Cutts quit Google and joined an SEO firm?” After all, Matt leads Google quality team which is mainly in charge of fighting spam and exploits.
While that hasn’t happened (yet), NMA reports this week that four guys off Matt’s Ireland crew quit their Google job and went solo to start their own SEO firm…
I am not sure what are the consequences of such a move and it seems as if Google may like to bound such employees by contract from making such moves, but it is sure as hell a very juicy move.
