Yahoo “One Ups” Google in Response Privacy Concerns

by Gilad on July 27th, 2007

yahooprivacy.jpgIn response to recent privacy concerns Yahoo decided to alter their data retention policy and make all logged data older than 13 months anonymous. This is unlike Google who limited their cookie’s lifespan to 18 months but maintains all logged references.

This new mentioned policy is to be implemented “by the end of the year” and with no specific date mentioned.
