Yahoo’s Adsense Competitor is Behavioral, Not Contextual
Nick over on Threadwatch writes that Yahoo’s proposed Adsense competitor is testing behavioural advertising, not contextual and writes that “From what you can read, i’d say this could be a major killer app for Yahoo!” The example sites given are Dogster and Catster.
I’d welcome some comments from readers on this one: what behavioural ads did Yahoo! deliver you? Dogster delivered my Mortgage Ads and Catster delivered me ads about learning French in France. If this is the brave new world of ad delivery from Yahoo! then I don’t think anyone at Google will be loosing any sleep.
